An Evening for the McGavock Confederate Cemetery

Join us for a special evening that will include dinner and discussions about the McGavock Confederate Cemetery. Speakers include Eric A. Jacobson, Nancy Bassett, and Rod Heller. The gates open at 4:30 pm and the music lasts from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased either in advance or at the door. Guests are welcome to pack picnic dinners or take advantage of on-site food and beverage vendors.

Bootlegger's Bash

Blue & Gray Days
November 6 - 7, 2015

Blue & Gray Days draws hundreds of school children and adult spectators every year. Hosted by both The Carter House and Carnton Plantation, guests will meet Civil War re-enactors and get hands on experience with clothes, trades, and weapons of the past. This living history experience is the perfect field trip and great for families. The 151st Anniversary of the Battle of Franklin and Annual Illumination
November 30, 2015

To commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Franklin, 10,000 luminaries, representing the casualties of the battle, will be lit at dusk. This event is free to the public. More details will be announced in fall 2015.
